Live tracking

Know where every asset is, where it's been, and get alerted the moment something needs attention. Blecon turns device locations into a live operational picture: continuous monitoring, a complete position history, and an alert workflow that keeps your team focused on what matters.

Blecon watches your operation 24/7 so your team can focus on exceptions instead of routine checks. Track vehicles returning to base, monitor stock levels in warehouse zones, ensure hospital equipment stays on-site, or manage assets across a logistics fleet.

What's included

Live location, indoors and outdoors

Every asset on a map, updating continuously. Positions are calculated from whichever hotspots are nearby (fixed installations, mobile phones, or vehicle-mounted hubs), and the map shows the same unified view whether a device is in a warehouse, on a vehicle, or outside. Movement trails show where each asset has been. See Live map and trails.

Position history

Every position update is stored. Go to any asset and see a full timestamped history: where it was, which zone it was in, what sensors were reading. Records are retained for 3 months and can be exported at any time. For longer retention, set up continuous archiving to AWS S3. See Position history and sensor data.

Rules: continuous monitoring

You define the conditions, Blecon watches 24/7. Rules cover geofence entry and exit, return-to-base schedules, dwell time, inactivity, zone asset counts, proximity associations, trip matching, and more. When a condition is met, an alert is created. See Rules and alerts for the full list.

Alerts: a triage workflow, not a notification stream

Alerts aren't fire-and-forget events. Each alert persists until its condition resolves and someone acts on it. Your team can acknowledge an alert, assign it to a colleague, add notes, and resolve it, so nothing gets lost and accountability is clear. Notifications (email, webhook, in-app) tell people an alert exists; the alert itself tracks it to resolution. See Alerts.

Fully programmable

The product is built entirely on the Tracker API. Every feature in the UI (the map, rules, alert management, zone creation, position history) is available via the API with full parity. Build custom dashboards, automate rule management, integrate with your ERP or CMMS, or embed tracking into your own product.

  • Zones: Named geographic areas that organize your space and drive rules.
  • Asset associations: Link related assets (e.g., packages on a pallet) to track them as a group.
  • Reports: PDF temperature reports with statistics, alarm information, and alerts.
  • Scan links: Shareable links and QR codes to register devices without the app.

Who it's for

Blecon is for operations teams who need a ready-made tracking solution. You define your conditions ("vans back by 6pm", "loading bay over 10 pallets", "device silent for two hours") and Blecon handles the monitoring, alerting, and record-keeping.

For custom integrations and automation, everything is also available via the Tracker API.
