Welcome
Blecon is a Bluetooth Low Energy platform for asset tracking and device communication — indoors and outdoors. Attach a beacon to anything you want to track, and Blecon tells you where it is, alerts you when something needs attention, and delivers sensor data to your systems. Coverage comes from the devices your workers already carry — phones, tablets, handhelds — so you can deploy a tracking network overnight with zero dedicated hardware.

These docs cover everything you need to deploy, configure, and operate the platform.
Where to start
-
What is Blecon?
Understand the platform and how the pieces fit together.
-
Set up your first tracking network
Create a network, register a device, and see location data flowing.
-
Track your first device on the map
Open the live map and see your device's position and trail.
The platform
Blecon has two layers:

Blecon Network is the platform layer — the positioning and connectivity engine. It turns Bluetooth signals into coordinates, manages device connections, and routes data via the Network API. You can build your own applications directly on this API, or use Blecon Track. Start with the Network overview.
Blecon Track is a tracking application built on the Network API. It gives you a live map, alert rules, violations, and webhook notifications — everything an operations team needs to monitor assets. Track also exposes its own Tracker API for custom integrations. Start with the Track overview.
Building a custom device?
These docs cover deploying and operating the Blecon platform with supported devices. If you're developing custom hardware or building your own Blecon-compatible device, contact Blecon support for access to the device developer documentation.
