Network activity

See what's happening across your network right now. The Blecon Console gives you real-time visibility into device events, usage trends, and historical data — so you can verify devices are reporting, spot anomalies, and troubleshoot issues without leaving the browser.

Event log

The event log shows a table of the most recent events across the network, updated in real time.

Each row includes:

  • Time — When the event occurred (UTC).
  • Device — The device that generated the event.
  • Event — The event type (e.g., network.device_spotted, network.data_received). Click to view the full event JSON.
  • Details — A human-readable summary. Spotted events with a location include a map link.

Use this view to verify devices are reporting, check event payloads, and confirm routes are receiving data.

Statistics

The statistics view shows three charts covering up to 30 days of network activity, bucketed by hour:

  • Active devices — How many unique devices were seen, how many are registered, and how many had active connections.
  • Requests and connections — Total request count, connection count, and cumulative connected time.
  • Data transfer — Bytes sent to and from devices.

Use this view to understand usage patterns, spot anomalies, and plan capacity.

Event explorer

The event explorer provides searchable, paginated access to historical network events.

Filter by:

  • Device ID — Show events for a specific device.
  • Event type — Show only specific event types.

Results are sorted by time and paginated at 100 events per page. Click any row to view the full event JSON.

Use this view to investigate specific incidents, trace device behaviour over time, or audit event delivery.
