Track your first device on the map

By the end of this guide you'll see your device's live position on the Blecon Track map with a movement trail.

Prerequisites

• A working tracking network with a registered device (complete Set up your first tracking network first)
• At least one hotspot detecting your device

Step 1: Open Blecon Track

1. Go to Blecon Track.
2. Select your tracker workspace.

Step 2: Find your device on the map

1. The live map shows all devices with known positions.
2. Find your device in the Assets list on the left, or look for its marker on the map.
3. Click the device to see its details — current position, last seen time, and zone (if configured).

Step 3: Watch the trail

1. Move the device to a new location within hotspot range.
2. After a few minutes, the map updates to show the new position.
3. A trail line connects the previous and current positions.

Step 4: View position history

1. Click on your device to open the detail panel.
2. Scroll to Position History to see a log of all recorded positions with timestamps.

You now have a device reporting its position to the live map. Next: Create your first alert rule.
